Our Background

Entrepreneurs Community Solutions and Innovative Development (ECOSID) is a grassroots Youth-led Malawian non-profit organization that engages marginalized communities to build sustainable resilient skills on four crosscutting fronts; Entrepreneurship, Health Justice, Climate Justice, and Agriculture.

ECOSID was founded in 2018 by a group of young people in Malawi who mobilized themselves and called “Entrepreneurs” to encounter socioeconomic challenges affecting communities in Malawi.

We exist to catalyze action supporting locally led initiatives for positive change. We mobilize and connect people and groups that should be working together. We work through networks, partnerships, and collaborations, never on our own.

We mobilize communities to advocate for the direct empowerment of children, youth, women, and their communities, as well as build their capacities through community-driven innovative solutions for improved livelihoods and health.
